Hey, my roommate (he/they) was out of work for a few months due to a wrist injury and only about $100 in disability payments because Medicare kept pushing back and not letting him schedule appointments for getting diagnosed/treatment. He’s back at work now despite having to wear a brace but Starbucks has been severely cutting hours so he’s gotten behind on his car payments/car insurance. The bank that he has his car loan through (Santander) issued him a notice that he needs to pay $800 by July 28, 2023 or he’s going to default on the loan.
If anyone has a little extra cash to send his way, it would be an insane help! Even if you don’t have anything to send, please reblog this to get traction. He feels like his situation isn’t dire enough to ask for help, so I’m doing what I can to spread the word.
